Indications: This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle against infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea type 1 (BVD1), parainfluenza 3 (PI3), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and Mannheimia haemolytica. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity has not been determined. This product has also been shown to be effective against clinical disease due to IBR and against the severity of pneumonic pasteurellosis due to M. haemolytica.
Composition: Contains inactivated IBR, BVD1, PI3, and BRSV viruses, and M. haemolytica. Immune-Guard® inactivant is used to kill viral components. The vaccine contains a dual adjuvant system to stimulate immunity. Gentamicin, neomycin, polymyxin B, and thimerosal added as preservatives.
Directions and dosage: Mix well. Inject one 5 mL dose subcutaneously using aseptic technique. Repeat in 14 to 28 days. Protect animals from exposure for at least 14 days after the last dose of vaccine. Contact your veterinarian or the manufacturer for information on revaccination frequency.
Precautions: Store out of direct sunlight at 35-46°F (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Do not mix with other products. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient swelling and soreness may occur at the injection site. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.
